Happy Day!

Well, so far, I've mowed part of the lawn, hauled water for the horses, cleaned the lawn chairs and called my in laws to invite for BBQ about 7 tonight.   Shayne has started haying, so he's swathing the first round of hay fields to be turned into hay.   Will be doing dishes shortly, also participating in an online garage sale today/tomorrow and otherwise trying to do little as possible beyond what I have to.   Will be preparing the potatoes for tonight shortly, will bake them, as we have a small grill, so need all that space for the meat.

I spent my day washing floors, doing laundry, and was going to go visit my son on the gulf coast, for a boat ride to watch the fireworks.  But, the rain had other ideas!  So, I'm going to visit a friend, have some coffee, and I know if it stops raining, the town will have some fireworks we can see from her house.

Spent most of the day writing the grant for a new access point for a Community Health Center that I've written 2 other grants for.  They got one, and didn't get the other, but I'm at it again at their request.  I want this one done by Friday, the 15th, as I'm headed out on my "beach house" annual vacation with all my kids and grandkids, so I don't want to miss even ONE day having to work on a grant!

I really wish I could send this rain to someone!!
