What are your hobbies?

Came up in a PM with Diane, so decided to start a thread.

you all know I do a bit of quilting, but my latest hobby is mineral/crystal specimen collecting.  I actually mostly like the pretty polished spheres and carvings, but have a few raw specimens too.

Hobbies for me would be my veggie garden and I also love to cook. Love taking the horses down the beach for a swim when the dolphins are out, Its quite surreal when they swim right up to you. Looking forward to getting back in the saddle once the inflammation in my coccyx has gone, if it doesnt the surgeon wants to remove part of it. Then I may need to learn something along the artistic/ creative lines to keep me busy whilst im couch bound ( hoping it doesnt come to that) 

Guess another hobbie of mine would be catching up with friends over a good bottle of red

Other than that I like to go to the gym, make websites and play the sims and other video games lol

Gardening is a good hobby, I have a black thumb, so I don't garden.  Cooking can be a good hobby, your recipes sound so yummy.

Horses are a good hobby.  If you enjoy it going to the gym can be a good hobby, not for me, but then, I'm a long ways from a gym to go to.

That would definitely be a factor in if the gym would be a place to go or not.  I know of some that get up extra early to hit the gym before work, but that wouldn't be me.

I'm at work working by 6:45, and it's a 30 minute drive to get there, so not getting up any earlier to make myself just get tired before I start work.  So, I'm with you!

I also love the gym! I used to weigh about 410lbs and decided that was enough of that haha worked out and ate healthy and lost 250 lbs over two years I also love fishing and hunting ! I'm a big fan of being about to self sustain so I like having my pigs and chickens and goats now for that reason too

Fabulous story!  About 3 years ago I lost 170 pounds, but sadly over 3 years I gained about 1/2 of it back, so going on another diet, because I felt so good at the lessor weight.  Now, if I could get the ambition to do it~!

Im another that has gained some weight lately, when my back/Coccyx is back to normal Ill start walking and then get back in the saddle

Never have been a fan of the Gym, though I hear people get up at all hours of the morning to attend and work out and do classes.

One thing I forgot to add and was something I was collecting when we moved to the farm was "old medicine " bottles that we found in the ground/ landfill. Im sure id have 30-50 in a box somewhere.

I tried looking some up online to see where they originated from , but no luck

Not to brag, but I've actually lost like 5-10 pounds this summer.  I usually gain in the summer, so this is good news for a change.

I'll gain it back, I always do.  I snack too much, and can't seem to help myself.  I am drinking more water and tea, instead of pop, so that probably helps some.
