Just a couple Tilly Donk pics from today...

so glad to have donkey hay this year for Tilly, perhaps she'll lose a little Donkey Fat.   I buy some hay from a guy that comes out of a grove of trees, just a little crested and brome, not irrigated, and it's usually just perfect for Tilly; ok, so the horses she's paddocks with might need a little boost in their diet, but it's so nice for Tilly and not too rich.   {I brought the hay home about a month ago, but still had a few bales of last year's hay, so they are only on their first bale of this year's.  Nice plain grass for donkey girl.}
Took a couple pictures, but missed the good picture.  When I went out, Tilly was standing completely under the loading chute grazing.   My chunker donkey girl.

She has grown up very pretty!!  I remember her as a baby, and it's so nice to see how she's grown up so beautifully!

Thank you.  I smile just thinking of her, she's so cute and her bray is something else.  [Good thing we don't have close neighbors.]
Yes, she has a thick neck and some fat pads on her sides, and she still looks thinner than the horses due to how donkeys are built.

I agree. She's still got the loveliest expression, and seems so sweet. Thank you for sharing! This way I can have a donkey without my husband or neighbors being able to out vote me. ;-)
