I suspect the vet said Hendra as a worst case scenario since its a very serious virus he had to inform us just to be aware.
But I couldn't be happier that they are recovering.
I have made up a book each for Tenae and I and we are going to start recording the horses vitals so we have a baseline to refer to so we can see any abnormalities. I designed tables and printed them at school. I also printed a heap of handy info sheets and laminated them and hung them on a clip for quick reference  :D

You know I actually disliked her name at the start. I had this friend with a very disobedient dog that was a complete terror, it barked, scratched, dug holes ect ect. I did not like the dog at all. So It kind of ruined the name for me. But then I lost contact with that friend and now I don't think of her name as that dog anymore.  :)

Oh yes! Willow and Meadow sounds so good together! We can all have Willows haha!

We finally got rain!
I had almost forgotten what rain was it's been that long! ;D Hopefully the grass might thrive a bit now, we have been having to feed the horses hay lately.

Here Willow is today, sorry about the angle of the side photo, I was standing on a log avoiding mud and that was as best as I got.

Thanks  :D
My parents have been watching her today, they said she has been walking around with her ears back and her tail slightly lifted, also she was laying down a few times. Im guessing she is just a bit uncomfortable, or the foal has moved into an uncomfortable position or something?

Very correct.  They may also see her start rolling, so don't be alarmed.
