He is a very nice, still very stout colt. His name suits him well!
Koalah, his dam, is picking up weight nicely after also losing so much right before foaling. Even with him being a heavy nurser and she a "milk cow". Still has a bit to go - we are adding milk supplements to the nursing mares' feeds, too.
I don't have any "trot" photos of him - but he has some nice extension w/o a lot of lift. No non-sense type movement. I believe he'll make a GREAT, steady, long distance type or all day type driving pony. I also think he'll enjoy driving - he displays so much of his mum's "ho-hum" attitude then ears up with interest at all the right times.
and the only pic of his other side - even if not complete, lol. He has a tremendous ability to get under himself even while doing a simple, plain flat footed walk. I wish he was big enough for me to ride -
He is very nicely straight legged behind - no cow hocks on this fella! Those are not testicles that you see, though, just a little bit hanging as he'd just gone.
