I just wish we could predict when they go lol I hate that I work 24hr / night shifts - at least I have the camera but I really hope to be at home when it happens - she's "due" based on 330 days on weekend and night I work. If she's anything like charm she'll go sooner but it's hard to know. Hopefully she goes on the week I'm off (in three weeks)

I'm also always considering the possibility of a learhal white foal. So if she foals when I'm working I'll need someone to watch for meconium and my dad is not that bothered. I'll try and get him more worried.

Charm also due on a weekend I'm working and I'm pretty sure she will be going on time lol just have to hope it is as happy as it was with meadow.

Why do you think Goldie could have a lethal white foal?  Did she and Banner both test positive for LWO or carry LWO (Frame Overo patterns) in their background/pedigree?

To be lethal white, the foal would have to get an LWO gene from each parent.

Have either been tested for LWO?   If either one is negative,  you have nothing to worry about.    LWO is Frame, and only Frame; it has nothing to do with other white patterns.   [There edited to make it easier to read, when I first posted, it ended up in the middle of the quote instead of the end.]

As Chanda said, the LWO lethal white is only if BOTH parents give a frame gene.  If Goldie is from a Splash parent with no frame, then everything is fine.  The potential would only be one gene possibly transferring from Banner.  Perhaps your pedigree information would tell you if Goldie had any frame in her background.

Worrying is normal, for all of us, especially as the time grows closer.  But I would think everything will be fine...we'll be praying for that!

That's goldies pedigree but there isn't much to go by cause it's all Shetland bred and no pics or info. I don't quite understand the frame thingy.

I had one that did that, there is a chip inside you can pull out. Or if not comfy doing that put masking tape over the infra red lights
