She was born a bit later than we expected and I did post a little about her on our main thread...
Took forever to come up with a name. Calypso was one that I had on my list of likes and I passed over it several times. Then I was sitting out in the pen with them and it came to me, so there it is...
She is the granddaughter of 'Clipse, out of Cheri. She is Cheri's 2nd foal and by the same sire as Nalani, so they are 3/4 sisters. She is in the same category as Nalani with regards to probably keeping her and not using her for breeding in the future. She is sired by our cryptorchid stallion and out of the mare line that produced a double cryptorchid. So...
But that said, she is unfolding into a wonderful little girl! She was 19 days old on the 16th of May when she and her dam were moved out to the pasture with the others.
