It was a bit much getting my 3 "male" brood sons together with their families this year. Seems like it all turned out well, and even had some of their friends and their families join us, so the kids had a great time, and my son, Tommy, took all the kids out on the boat along with his friends boat to see the fireworks! Had about 12 kids to go watch, so it took 2 boats this year.
Next year, Tommy says he'll have a new boat as with the kids all growing they are taking up more space. They all love to fish, too, so if any of us adults are going to get to fish in the Gulf, he'll need a big one. He's wanted a new boat for a year, and says NOW is the time. Looking forward to it for next year's vacation.
We go on vacation next Saturday, so it will be so much fun having all my kids and grandkids together.
