Our temps dropped, table is turned... Had to blanket Tilly this morning, she's never shown signs of being cold, we've been 20 below before while I've had her and she's not shivered, but today's chill factor is something else. She wasn't too sure about it, but seemed quite happy once I finished making the adjustments, the belly strap almost isn't long enough for her, she definitely can't get any fatter.
Che` wasn't shivering this morning in his stall, but I put his blanket on him before letting him out, just to be sure.
And, I put a blanket on Bonny, while she hasn't shown much signs of shivering, she is currently my thinnest mare, so figured better safe than sorry. Sophia doesn't know what to make of Bonny in a blanket and didn't want to come very close. Bliss was curious, but not too worried.
I had Shayne drop their round bale I their feeder so I wouldn't have to fight the wind to feed hay the next few days.
Don't think I'll be going to my quilt meeting tomorrow in town, it's at night, and this cold and snow is supposed to continue, so best I'm not out in it after dark.
