I had to trim Dolly's hooves today, and since I took her over to the mare barn to be out of the wind, I'm putting everyone back where they belong tonight. Dolly is still in the barn to recover from her Dorm gel; which didn't work as well as usual today, so guess it's time to give her a higher dose again, I had backed off while she was doing well, but she's back to being a stinker. And, I moved Belle in with Bliss, so all I need to do tonight when I bring the girls and Topper in, is pull Topper and put him back in his paddock (if I can get him into the upper alley, I won't even have to catch him, just close the alley panel behind him, then open the outer gate and let him move across on his own). It will be nice to be back to "normal". Cross your fingers Topper got everyone; I saw him actively pursue 3 of the 4 mares; I don't know if Tana didn't come in, or he just wasn't as obvious with her. They were together a good 4 weeks; July 28 or 29, until tonight; so should have been plenty of time to catch everyone.
