Not completely finished, as it needs some gravel and leveling, but the hole in the driveway is filled and passable.

I've had tomatoes ripening almost every day, and lots of snap peas.  I replanted radishes, and cucumbers, melons and zucchini/summer squash as growing nicely.  Hope the parts for your mower get there soon.

So glad the hole in the driveway is almost fixed Chanda!  You must be so happy!

My house is over 100 years old, and NOW it picks a time when one of the windows is about to fall out of the house.  My son, Tommy (a contractor) is too busy with work to come fix it, so have had to hire another contractor to do the work.  He's been really good about staying outside, and only can inside once -- but is an old friend -- also with a heart condition -- so we stayed in opposite rooms.  He's taken out the glass, boarded up the window opening and ordered the new window.  Hopefully it will get fixed soon.

So, never a dull moment for any of us, it seems!

Waiting on FedEx today, first day in 3 weeks, they'll be able to drive in the yard to deliver.    Have a Chewy order coming; one order, 3 boxes; and one box will arrive tomorrow; some how they got separated in transit.   Will just be glad to have barn cat food again; not quite out and I have it on auto ship, but with shipping delays, don't want to run out.

I LOVE Chewy.com and use it myself.  I have cat and dog food on autoship, and 3 different bone treats for the dog.  I know they sent out notices that things might be a bit late, but everything has actually been coming on time.  So nice, not to have to carry the heavy little and bags of feed from the grocery.  Very nice to have it just show up on my front porch!   ;D

The part for the mower arrived, costly job as the part we thought was the issue, wasn't actually the problem. Was thought to be the motor that runs the blades, but only ended up being a disc.

I think your house has done extremely well with the winds you have in Florida. Love snap peas, especially when eaten straight off the vine :)  My winter veggies are not doing too well, something is still eating them. I just sprayed for snails and white moths and Ill do again over the weekend.

Anyone watching something good on TV  at the moment ?

Autoship is shipping more timely than new orders, as they are taking priority over, one-time shipments.  So, I'm very glad to have barn cat food on autoship at this time.

Montana is starting a phased reopening.
Hair salons are one of the first to be able to reopen, I have an appointment in 2 weeks.  Will also have lunch with Mom, even if take out to have at her place.  I feel fairly safe where we live having lunch with Mom.  It's her birthday, and right after Mother's Day, so I have a little something for her.

Today and tomorrow are kitty vet days...  Today, Tigger got his Feline Leukemia test, he's negative, so gets neutered in the morning.  Bob broke a tooth or something late last week, so he got a check-up, needs a dental (couple bad molars).  So, I get to go back to town tomorrow to pick them up.  Might call in the morning, and see if the service shop can do an oil change tomorrow afternoon, my pick-up is way past due.

Sounds wonderful.  We have a great Governor who is also doing a phased opening, but my kids are not yet convinced all is well.  Even in our small town we've had 1 new case since last week, but only 4 deaths since the beginning.  So, my son, Tommy's birthday is tomorrow.  He'll be 42, and my doctor daughters have graced me with the ability to go see him on his birthday -- but I'm not allowed to hug the grandkids, and we're eating outside by the pool, keeping the 6 foot rule.  Better than nothing!!  Susan, his wife, is an ER doctor, so she's out in the public routinely, and although everyone is "healthy" with no symptoms, they are just not happy giving me the final okay to hug those grandkids.  I can't wait for a family event with EVERYONE together!

Ben's little boy (age 3) is so sad he says he misses his cousins, his grandma and his "school" friends -- the daycare kids.  Poor little guy, he just doesn't get it.  So we've all been doing a lot of "facetime" with him on the phones.  I'll be glad when he can just run to me and give me a big hug!  He's the last of the grandkids and he's just as close to me as the older ones are.  Can't wait for "hugs all around!!!"

Glad you'll get to see your mom and do a little shopping and hair salon, and even an oil change sounds like fun!  Be safe!

Luckily, Montana hasn't been has hard hit as some states, probably due to it's large size and small population.   Last I looked less than 500 cases in the whole state, about 70% recovered, and under 20 deaths.  The worst hit is a small population county, but it hit a nursing home or assisted care facility.

Florida has had 26,652 cases with 788 deaths, so not too bad for as many "old" people in this state with routine health problems.  In our little county there have been 24 cases with only 4 deaths, but the surrounding counties are a bit higher.  But all together, Florida has really done pretty well, considering the number of elderly people, the number of nursing homes and assisted living facilities, etc.

My son, Tommy, is a contractor doing renovations at 2 high-rise condo buildings at an assisted living facility about 1/2 mile from the Gulf on Venice Island, that has high-rise condo buildings, small houses and apartments.  Lots of people and not 1 has contracted the virus even with the men working there.  Everyone being EXTREMELY careful with the residents to keep everyone safe.

I know it's serious, but still not sure who to believe with so much of the news being biased one way or the other, so do we really just get the actual facts?  Or do we get a lot of embellishment?

I know what you mean and I'm not sure of everything we "learn" from the news.

I DO believe the seriousness of the disease and the contagiousness of it, as daughter, Katy (Chief of Surgery with a staff of hundreds of docs, nurses, etc.) lost a young doctor on her staff who contracted the disease while caring for a COVID 19 patient, and she is deadly serious for us to take precautions.  So we do.  She's been quarantined since she had the low grade fever weeks ago when they were trying to deploy her to NYC, and even though the "test" said negative, the Military said the tests were over 40% unreliable -- so they still have her home.  She's just gone into the hospital this week to see 2 patients that needed immediate surgery, but otherwise is working from home.

Don't know much, as the more we "learn" the less we know, but I DO trust Katy's judgment, and so I do what she says, until she says I don't need to.  I have no death wish, nor do I wish to cause my grandchildren any pain, so I do what I'm told.  LOL

Its been the same here over the last week, most news stations seem to be giving varied reports of things starting to clear up. Then I wake this morning to many new cases over night. They have been talking about easing restrictions here, I really hope they do not, for the time being.

It makes me happy to read  you will both be able to see some of your family members. Even if it means keeping a little distance , there will still be plenty of love flying around  :)

Take care everyone  ;pray

For sure.  Now, Katy said Texas had the same experience yesterday, with the most new cases in one day since this started.  So, she is not happy about me going to see Tommy on his birthday and says to wait.

So Susan says it's okay and Katy says no....a dilemma for sure.  I'll have to see what Susan says later when I tell her what Katy said.  So, either way, I'm fine.  Don't want any sickness here.

I'm certainly willing to wait things out a bit longer.   ;D
