Hi, Ryan, hope all is going well, as you prepare for winter in OZ.

Baybe is almost 325 days, if she took, still looks iffy; but I"ve read several accounts of horses going long this year, so there's still hope.

we're quickly approaching a year, and unfortunately, I'm thinking it's a big fat NO.   I've heard mares have gone long this year, but still not holding out much hope that Baybe is pregnant.

I'm trying to have a little hope, as I know they can go over a year, and this year, it sounds like plenty have gone longer than average; but I'm not holding my breath.

Well, we can all exhale, we are past a year and no foal.  Bummer.

At Che`s age, it might now be an age factor as much as anything, so probably not.   All my girls aging out of breeding age, and since I can't seem to sell anyone, not breeding isn't a bad thing.  Bummed I didn't get a colt from Che`, but I have plenty to keep me busy and fed (especially with the drought this year).
