Well to my surprise Katie isnt in foal!
I went out to check the ponies and caught Apache & Katie in the act!
So I guess waiting to preg check Katie is pushed even further back....

Don't give up so easily.  Remember, some of these girls are hussies, and will breed even when they are already in foal.  It's a common occurrence for some mares, so you just never know!

She sure is acting like its a real heat.... So I am not sure, I may just take them both for a US and see.
Digby is only 3 -4 so maybe he isnt quite ready yet.

5 days later Katie is still showing, still breeding so I am going to assume this is a real heat. I am not unhappy as now I should have 2 appy foals next year!

Day 37 no heat!  I really am hoping she settled, I will be testing in a couple of months providing she doesnt return to estrus!
