A little swelling, but improving.
I was gone all day on a supply run, had to make a 200 mile trek to get some specialty panels.  And, while I was at it, got feed and some Wal-Mart goodies.

only basic groceries are a quick trip, and even that takes half a day, with the hour drive there and back.

Spotty is doing well, little to no swelling this morning, but he was a bit moody and more stand-offish than usual.

I'm just glad I ended it before it got too serious.  Last year, he was just head over heels for my APHA mare; I think we got it done before it really kicked in this year.

Tonight at chore time, Spotty was chasing after Manny, so things are starting to get back to normal.  Hopefully, when his hormones wane, things will calm down a ltitle more and it'll be the "race is on" instead of "I'm going to annoy the piss out of you".  ;)

Perfectly normal , especially with the weather you had over winter. Now the weather is better , you see so many things that need doing before the colder months start to return !
