Two bottle bums are now on cows, one is bonded up really well and out with a small group of pairs, the other is still boding in a large stall barn (she was on a bottle the longest, so might take a little longer to get the hang of going to a cow for milk). The third may end up staying a bottle bum, as he's a bit stiff legged, so doesn't move as easily as the others and would likely have trouble keeping up with the herd on pasture; although, now that I've bought another bag of milk replacer and a bag of calf started, we very well might get him a cow mom.
Thank you for the compliments, Renee on the quilts, I appreciate it. I have more, even a couple from this quilting season, so might post a couple more pics.
The top is done for this kitty quilt, but still need to quilt it. Working on a quilt for my sister for her birthday, no pics, yet. The handprint quilt was made for our postal worker, she's young and obviously a new mom, since it's a baby quilt (she loves it). And, a pile of tablerunners I made for Christmas gifts a few years ago.
