Holy crap have we got spots, and I think I already have a name... so, meet Spotty, Hell Coulee Tanas Spots on Top
I'm thinking bay dun, but might be just bay, and it's a colt.   Look at those legs.
He was already up and going when I got out there, haven't actually seen it, but pretty sure he's pood and peed, and he's had a dose of the OTC colostrum supplement.

And, Thank you Holly and Diane.  He's a cute little toot.   We are a bit chilly, so I put straw in their shed and closed them in for awhile this afternoon, opened it up at dinnertime.   Also put a blanket on him.  Will see what it's like tomorrow.

Kept forgetting to grab it to take to the barn, yesterday, so Tana will get her ivermectin today, hope it still helps with foal heat scours.

Oh, and I did eventually see that his plumbing works.  I was getting more straw and was like "man, what stinks", I had stepped in some poo, turned around and looked at him...  He's talented, he was pooping and peeing at the same time; so plumbing works.

I need to check over the two girls that look close and see who might be next, but a little wishful thinking or prayers or whatever it takes to send the filly fairy my way.  Would love a filly or two by Topper.   Three boys his first crop, and starting the second with a boy first, what does it mean?   
Obviously my powers of observation suck, or I would have known Tana was closer than Bonny.
FYI - we are at about 335 days from first day of turn out with stallion, so yesterday's foal was anywhere from 304 days to 334 days gestation (Tana went 307 days her maiden pregnancy, that was hand cover, so known dates).

Minimal blend, what is he down to, 1/8 Falabella?  [Might be only 1/16.]   But who cares, he's cute has heck and has lots of spots, hope he keeps them.
And, it's been one of htose days so didn't check the other two mares that closely today, but did manage to get a clean blanket on Spotty (might make it Mr Spots), and wipe a little dried poo off his bum (and another navel dip).   He's a toot, and doesn't like to be handled.

I was just reading on FB, and it reminded me of something I wanted to say.
Before Tana foaled, while she had a baby belly, she seemed a tad thin; a bit thin on top and a bit thin in the ribs.  Now that baby is here, she looks just about right.   Without baby weight pulling down her ribs are less visible, and so is her spine.   She could still use a few more groceries, but overall looks pretty good.   After bub came, I added a bit of senior to her daily diet; it's tastier than their normal ration, so encourages them to eat.   Tana's packing it away right now, really eating her hay and pellets; Spotty must have been taking up more room than it seemed.

Many congrats Chanda - he is gorgeous, the spotty colouring is just perfect!   
Am really hoping that the filly fairy visits for your other girls, but maybe just one more colt to keep this fella company at/after weaning time?
